Pastor Roger asks for us to pray for several aspects of ministry at their church. Pray for them as they disciple men in the church, specifically that God would sanctify them and grow them to the point where they can disciple others as well. Pray for the recent outreach ministry to couples in an area of Aracaju that could lead to another church plant. Pray that God would open hearts to the gospel as they share it in several villages in the interior of Brazil. And lastly, pray for the Johansens as they returned to the US on March 26. Pray that God would give them a refreshing and beneficial trip and would bless their time here. Pray also for Roger as he has medical visits regarding his neurological condition, that he would receive good treatment and counsel to help him manage his symptoms.

How to pray

  • Pray that God would grow the church in Aracaju.

  • Pray that God would sanctify the men in the church and enable them to disciple others.

  • Pray for the recent outreach ministry to couples in an area of Aracaju that could lead to another church plant.

  • Pray that God would open hearts to the gospel as they share it in several villages in the interior of Brazil.

  • Pray that God would bless the Johansens while they are back in the US.

  • Pray that Pastor Roger receive good treatment while he is in the US and that he would have strength and patience to continue enduring his Parkinson’s symptoms.

Mexico

The recent counter-narcoterrorism in Mexico occurred near where the Warnes live and minister. Pastor Brian asked that we pray for opportunities to proclaim Christ through their three church plants in Guadalajara (Jalisco), Compostela & Tepic (Nayarit) during the unrest in the aftermath of everything that has gone on.

Pastor Brian and Daynel recently spent two weeks in Peru, where they attended the 3-day Proclama Conference in Lima, with about 600 people in attendance. Pastor Brian also taught 3 sessions at a marriage retreat with church-planting pastors and their wives, and Brian and Danyel enjoyed fellowshipping with these men and women at the retreat.

Looking ahead, Pastor Brian asks that we pray for a unique opportunity for church planters in Mexico as Pastor Mark Dever leads a 3-day workshop in Mexico City. Pray that God would use Pastor Dever’s time with these pastors and that God would use this workshop to grow the church in Latin America.

How to pray

  • Pray that God would use the Proclama conference to bless churches throughout Peru and South America.

  • Pray that God would use the marriage retreat to bless the couples who attended.

  • Pray that God would use Pastor Mark Dever’s 3-day pastors’ workshop in Mexico City.

  • Pray that God would grow and bless Iglesia Biblica Redencion in Los Mochis.

  • Pray that God would continue to strengthen and grow the churches in Sinaloa.

  • Pray for Pastor Brian as he trains and equips church leaders in Mexico, Honduras, and Peru both virtually and in person.

  • Pray for the entire team helping to plant the church in Los Mochis:
