Sign up to volunteer at VBS
This summer, we are hosting our Vacation Bible School from July 13-17. This year’s theme is Cross Training, where we’ll use the Olympics as a backdrop for sharing the gospel with the children in our church and our community. Volunteer sign-ups are open, so please sign up by clicking the button below.
March 28 - Men’s Theology Group
Our men are invited to join us on Saturday, March 28, at 7:00am as we continue a study through the book Conscience by Andrew Naselli and J.D. Crowley. This book will give us an opportunity to see what Scripture says about our conscience and how to train it biblically. Please read chapters 5 and 6 before our next meeting.
March 29 - Youth Event
Join us on Sunday night, March 29, at 5:30pm for our next youth event. We will participate in a set of group challenges in a race to see who can finish first. We'll also enjoy a meal together and spend time discussing how God's Word applies to our lives. Please RSVP to this event by email to notify us how many from your family will be attending.
April 3 - Good Friday Darkening Service
We will gather together for a special darkening service on Good Friday, April 3 at 7:00pm. This service aims to help us meditate on Christ’s work on our behalf by rehearsing his seven sayings on the cross. We will sing, read scripture, and marvel at the meaning of his sufferings. We will end in silence and darkness, but this is not the end. The story finds its resolution on Sunday morning when we gather to celebrate the glory of his resurrection! We encourage you not only to come but also to invite unsaved friends and family to join you. There will be no nursery or children’s ministries, but we hope families will join us to worship together.
April 11 - Ladies’ Study
We will finish our ladies’ study on Saturday, April 11 at 9:00am. This year we are studying Consider the Lillies by Jonny Ardavanis, a book about how meditating on God’s character can help us to trust him in the midst of life’s trials. To prepare for this month’s study, please read chapters 13 and 14. We hope you’ll join us!
April 12 - Prospective Elder Interview
On Sunday, April 12, we invite you to come at 6:00pm where we will host an interview with Rod Cundiff and allow him to share his testimony and describe how God has directed his life to this point. As we walk through the elder candidacy period with Rod, we encourage you to join us to get to know him better and participate in this exciting process as a church.
April 19 - Youth Book Study
Once a month, our youth group meets to study through the book Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges. This resource walks through what Scripture says about many categories of sin that we tend to gloss over and not treat very seriously. We hope it will be a beneficial time of learning how to view sin the way God does. Please read chapters 13 and 18 in preparation for our next meeting which will be on Sunday, April 19 at 5:30pm.
May 2 - Men’s Golf Scramble
On May 2, we will be holding a golf scramble for the men of our church to attend. All skill levels are welcome. This will be a great time of fellowship for the men of our church, but we also would love for you to invite a co-worker, neighbor, or friend to attend as your guest. Each person who attends will get to play 18 holes, have a chance to win prizes, share a meal together, and get to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. The cost to sign up is $50 per person, and we would encourage our church members to consider paying for their guests if possible. To find out more and register, click the link below.
