Register for Cross Training VBS

Calling all athletes: VBS is only a month away! Kids ages 5-12 are invited to join us for a week of Olympic-style training as we learn about running well in the race of life. VBS will run during the mornings of July 13-17, as well as a Family Fun Night outdoor event on Thursday, July 16. To find out more and to register, click the link below.

June 10 - Summer Fellowship

On June 10, we will have our first mid-week summer fellowship at 6:00pm. To kick off the summer, we plan to have a pot luck dinner outside. We will provide paper products, plasticware, and drinks. We ask that families bring enough of a main dish to feed your family plus one, and that those attending as individuals bring either a side or dessert to share. Please bring a few lawn chairs and/or a blanket for yourself as well. After dinner, we’ll return inside for an interview with Rod Cundiff as he continues with his elder candidacy. Even if you can’t make it right at 6, we encourage you to join us when you can. We hope to see you there!

June 13 - Vbs Training

All VBS Volunteers are requested to attend our training on Saturday, June 13 from 9am-1pm. This training will give us the opportunity to equip everyone involved with the tools they need to effectively serve during the week of VBS. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

June 14 - Members Meeting

On Sunday night, June 14, at 6:00pm, we will take time to praise God for this past year, present the proposed budget for this coming fiscal year, and cast a vision for the road ahead. If you are a church member at Redemption Hill, please set aside time to attend this important meeting. This will also be the time when members will receive the updated directory. After the meeting, church members will have two weeks to ask any questions of the Leadership Team regarding the proposed budget before the congregational vote on Sunday morning, June 28. We encourage you both to attend and participate in this process, as it is an important way members can take part in the life of our church and seek to glorify God as wise stewards of his gracious provision.

June 28 - Church Picnic

We invite you to join us on Sunday night, June 28 at 5:00pm to enjoy a church picnic. Weather permitting, we’ll meet outside to enjoy a potluck dinner, yard games, and great fellowship. This is a great opportunity to deepen your relationships with others in our body as you talk over a meal or toss a frisbee around. We will provide paper products, plasticware, and drinks. We ask that families bring enough of a main dish to feed your family plus one, and that those attending as individuals bring either a side or dessert to share. Please bring a few lawn chairs and/or a blanket for yourself as well.
