announcements
Here are a few upcoming events and announcements we want to spotlight for you.
Fellowship Table Groups
Would you like to get to know more people at our church? Fellowship Table Groups gives you a practical opportunity to do just that! Signing up for this ministry will connect you with a small group of adults at Redemption Hill that will schedule to meet together 3 times, once per month, during January, February, and March. This time will be spent sharing a meal and learning about how God is at work in the lives of others as you fellowship together. Be sure to sign up before the end of December to get connected. December 6 - Ladies’ Study
We will continue our ladies’ study this Saturday, December 6 at 9:00am. This year we are studying Consider the Lillies by Jonny Ardavanis, a book about how meditating on God’s character can help us to trust him in the midst of life’s trials. To prepare for this month’s study, please read chapters 4 and 5. We hope you’ll join us!
December 7 - Youth Christmas Party
As the year draws to a close, our youth group will gather this Sunday night, December 7 for a Christmas celebration. We'll meet at the home of Steve and Monica Anderson from 5:30-8pm. We’ll also enjoy games, a Christmas meal, and time in the Word. Wear your best ugly Christmas sweater too! To RSVP for this youth event, please email us and notify us how many from your family will be attending.
December 21 - Youth Group Book Study
Once a month, our youth group will meet to study through the book Respectable Sins by Jerry Bridges. This resource walks through what Scripture says about many categories of sin that we tend to gloss over and not treat very seriously. We hope it will be a beneficial time of learning how to view sin the way God does. Our next meeting will be on Sunday night, December 21, at 5:30pm.
December 24 - Christmas Eve Service
Christ our Savior is born! As we rejoice over the birth of Jesus, we'll spend a brief time of family worship at 5:00pm on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24. We'd love to have you join us as we sing and reflect on the story of redemption displayed in the birth of Christ.
