VBS Volunteer Sign Up

Redemption Hill Church is hosting a Vacation Bible School from July 14-18 in order to share the good news of Jesus Christ with the children of our community. We’ll meet for our VBS from 8:30am to 12:00pm each day and also on Thursday night where we’ll invite the families of all the kids who have attended VBS to enjoy a fun evening together.

There are many different ways to help out at VBS. Once you’ve looked at the various roles and what they entail, you can indicate any areas where you’d like to serve in the form below. We’ll do our best to place you there, but we cannot guarantee it for certain.

  • Classroom: A teacher leads the class of children throughout the day, including teaching the lesson and keeping the class on schedule. Helpers serve in the class by helping the teacher with whatever they need.

  • Games: The leader prepares, explains, and leads a game for each class to play. Helpers assist in setting up and facilitating the game.

  • Crafts: The leader prepares, explains, and leads a craft for each class. Helpers assist in setting up and facilitating the craft.

  • Snacks: The leader prepares a snack for each class. Helpers assist in preparing, setting out, and cleaning up the snack.

  • Registration: The leader checks in kids at the beginning of the day, directing them to the right classroom. Helpers assist in this process and can walk with kids to their classroom.

  • Decoration: The leader plans decorations throughout the church. Helpers assist in setting up decorations.

  • Nursery: The leader oversees nursery care for children of other VBS workers under the age of 5. Helpers provide childcare in the nursery.
