Ministries

Small Group Ministry

Each week, members of our church meet in homes to discuss scripture, pray, and encourage one another in the faith. These groups are roughly geographic in nature, as we encourage people from all ages and stages of life to interconnect. Men’s Ministry

We offer a monthly men’s study that meets 7-9am on Saturday once per month. These studies are usually theological in nature and are aimed at equipping men to lead in their homes and in the church by promoting a deeper understanding of key biblical issues. We also do two annual events per year - the Ironmen Summit at Flint Hills Bible Church in Emporia, and a campout in the fall.

Women’s Ministry

We offer a monthly study on a Saturday morning from 9:00-11am. These Bible studies are meant to promote a deeper love for God and his Word and to encourage the building of relationships in our body. We also schedule ladies’ fellowships several times per year, and host an annual all-day seminar in the spring.

College Ministry

We invite college students and young adults to join us for an annual retreat in the fall, as we combine with a few other like-minded churches to offer a weekend of biblical teaching and recreation. We also encourage families in our church to “adopt” a college student, which involves committing to get to know them, praying for them, hosting them for dinners occasionally in their homes, and providing support throughout the school year. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in small groups, men’s ministry, and women’s ministry.

Youth Ministry

Our junior high and high school students have a Sunday School class that meets each week at 9:30am. This class is intended to teach bible study methods and help young people develop a love for God’s word. We also plan monthly activities for them to enjoy some fun and games, eat together, and hear biblical teaching intended to strengthen their faith and equip them to serve and follow Christ.
