While the Johansens are in the United States, Pastor Roger asks for prayer both for himself and for the church in Brazil. He asks that we pray for the kids’ outreach to be fruitful in Aracaju, for their Brazilian neighbors to be saved, and for new believers in the church to grow in the Lord. He also asks that we pray for the political unrest surrounding the election in Brazil. Pray for believers to place their hope in God in the midst of unknowns. For Roger’s family in particular, pray that God would use their remaining time in the United States. Pray also that their daughter Juliana would find a good job for the summer to help with college expenses in the fall.

Mexico

Pastor Brian and Danyel recently travelled to Costa Rica and Honduras to strengthen local churches in the area through teaching and preaching. Pastor Brian led a two-week Pastoral Ministry seminary class and preached in their chapel. He also preached in churches throughout the area and at a conference in Honduras. Pray for fruit from these ministry opportunities.

In Mochicahui, the church is preparing for an upcoming Ladies Retreat where over 50 women will be studying Philippians. Pray that this would bless and encourage the women in the church. Pastor Brian is also going to visit a family in Mazatlan where they are hoping to plant a new church. Pray also that God would bless the Warnes as they travel to the US in the next month.

  • Pray that God would bless the time the Warnes spent in Costa Rica and Honduras.

  • Pray that God would use the Ladies Retreat to bless the women in the church.

  • Pray that God would enable the church to plant a new body in Mazatlan.

  • Pray that God would bless the Warnes as they prepare to travel to the US.

  • Pray that God would grow and bless Iglesia Biblica Redencion in Los Mochis.

  • Pray that God would continue to strengthen and grow the churches in Sinaloa.

  • Pray for Pastor Brian as he trains and equips church leaders in Mexico, Honduras, and Peru both virtually and in person.
