The Eighth Commandment: Thou Shalt Not Steal

God designed the world in such a way as to give humans private property to steward, and that gift came with instructions. We must not take what has been given to others, and we must also not hoard what is in our possession. Rather, we should love God and love our neighbor by respecting the property of others and generously sharing our own, showing faith in God's provision and reflecting his generosity in giving good gifts to others.
