Baptism is a beautiful part of the Christian life. It represents the union we have with Christ as we are symbolically lowered with him into death and raised with him into newness of life. Baptism is a step of obedience for believers and a wonderful opportunity for the Church to welcome their brothers and sisters into membership in the body.
