Holy Sexual Ethics

The modern sexual ethic of our world emphasizes not judging, says consent is the only boundary, and encourages people to be true to themselves. But we must not receive our morality from the world, but from God. God’s call to holiness is comprehensive and includes our sexuality. We must walk in sexual holiness because of God’s own holiness. His grace and authority also motivate us to purity, as does his purpose for our lives. And though the temptation of illicit sex promises gratification, true goodness and fullness of joy come from following God’s commands. Let us trust in God’s good promises!
