Holy Food for a Holy People

What can we learn from the Levitical food laws of the nation of Israel? Though believers are not bound by the same dietary restrictions, we are bound to the same holy God who initially gave them to Israel. God’s instructions about food point to his holiness, his distinctness from all else. As we recognize God’s holiness, we are compelled to be holy as he is holy. So let us honor his commandments for us today and delight in walking in holiness!
