FIJI
Fiji Bible College is continuing to labor for the sake of Christ. One area of focus is a new School of Evangelism they have launched in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, and the Solomon Islands, areas they are uniquely positioned to reach due to Fiji’s proximity in the Pacific. They are excited about what God has already done through this school and desire both more teachers and more students to be a part of the ministry.
Dr. Narayan and his wife Savita recently celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary this year, a testament to God’s faithfulness to them and through them in their many years together.
In addition to this wedding anniversary, Fiji Bible College celebrated their 50th anniversary with events occurring from October 9-12. Dan and Tina Rudman traveled to Fiji to participate in these celebrations and saw many students graduate from various programs.
This year has also been particularly difficult for Fiji Bible College as they have not received sufficient funding to operate at their needed level. They are trusting God to provide as he always does, but they also are asking for added prayer that God would give that provision soon so they will be able to continue their ministry.
In addition to these updates, you can find out more about what God is doing in Fiji by watching this video produced by Ambassadors for Christ:

Earlier in October Pastor Brian had the privilege of teaching at the annual ACBC conference in Ft. Worth, Texas. He led a session in Spanish on getting to the heart in counseling situations. In addition to this opportunity, Brian also is continuing to disciple Tony, Yosimar, and Cesar, the Pastoral Residents in Sinaloa, as well as virtually discipline other pastors throughout Mexico, Honduras, and Peru.
This week Pastor Brian and Danyel will travel to Costa Rica so he can preach in a sister church there. After this they will travel to the Seminary for Expository Preaching in Honduras where Pastor Brian will teach and instruct the students. Pray for the Warnes to have endurance as they embark on these travels.

The past month for the Johansens has been filled with spending time with Crystal’s mother, Wanda, in her final days. Roger, Crystal, and all their children were able to be with Wanda as she dealt with stage-4 lung cancer and then passed away a few weeks ago. This has been a difficult time for them, especially for Crystal, and they desire prayer that God would both comfort their family and work the gospel in the hearts of extended family members who do not know Christ.
Pastor Roger will be bringing several people on a missions trip to Portugal from November 2-6. The people taking this trip are pursuing God’s leading as to how they might be involved in church planting in Portugal, a prime mission field for Brazilians due to the shared language of Portuguese. Please pray that God would bless this trip and guide the members of the group.
Pastor Eriomar also requests prayer for his vehicle as it needs to be replaced. Purchasing and maintaining vehicles in Brazil is very expensive, and it is currently outside of Pastor Eriomar’s means to get the vehicle he would need. He uses his car daily for ministry purposes, giving necessary transportation to church members and pastors, and he is praying for God to provide the funds so that he could continue providing this transportation.
How to pray
Pray that Crystal and the Johansens would be comforted after Wanda’s death.
Pray for the group of Brazilians traveling to Portugal November 2-6.
Pray that God would provide a replacement vehicle for Pastor Eriomar.
Pray that God would bless the new church plant in Gloria.
Pray for the youth in the church in Aracaju as they prepare to take a missions trip, specifically that God would bless their efforts to raise support.
Pray that God would develop many future leaders to aid in the ministry in Brazil.
Pray that Pastor Roger would have strength and patience to continue enduring his Parkinson’s symptoms and that doctors would have wisdom and skill in diagnosing and treating it. Specifically pray that the doctors who saw him in the states would be able to help him.
Pray for the leadership in Aracaju:
Pastor Roger Johansen.
Pastor Eriomar Maia.
Pastor Marcos.
