Pastor Roger recently visited Portugal, Italy, and Greece as part of a trip to strengthen existing churches and explore new opportunities for church planting. Afterwards, he jumped back into ministry in Brazil, and asked for prayer in three specific areas. First, they are starting a new ministry project of making training videos about Bible study and preaching for Portuguese pastors. Second, they held a family retreat this past weekend for the churches in Ponta Verde and Aracaju. Pray that God would use the time spent ministering to these families to grow the believers in these bodies. Lastly, pray for Nilza’s family as they resolve some very difficult situations, specifically that they would stay faithful to God.

How to pray

  • Pray that God would bless the churches Pastor Roger visited in Portugal.

  • Pray that God would help Pastor Roger as he works to make training videos for Portuguese Pastors.

  • Pray that God would use the family retreat to strengthen the churches in Ponta Verde and Aracaju.

  • Pray that God would strengthen Nilza’s family as they resolve some very difficult situations.

  • Pray for the leadership in Aracaju and Gloria:

    • Pastor Roger Johansen.

    • Pastor Eriomar Maia.

    • Pastor Marcos.

Mexico

The Warnes concluded their time in the United States and headed back home to Mexico where they quickly jumped into ministry. Brian and Danyel traveled to Colima, a small state south of Sinaloa, where Brian preached at a conference attended by church planting pastors from 3 different Mexican states. Pray that God would give them energy on their trip and that the pastors would benefit from the conference. Additionally, last week, Brian and Danyel ministered to church planting pastors and pastoral residents in Jalisco and praise God for the fruit he provided there.

How to pray

  • Pray that God would bring fruit from the church planting conference in Colima.

  • Pray that the Warne’s ministry in Jalisco would strengthen the pastors and residents there.

  • Pray for Pastor Brian as he trains and equips church leaders in Mexico, Honduras, and Peru both virtually and in person.

  • Pray for the entire team helping to plant the church in Los Mochis:

    • Pastor Brian Warne and wife Danyel

    • Pastor Antonio de la Cruz and wife Alicia

    • Pastor Tony de la Cruz, wife Avi, and family

    • Deacon Seth, wife Mavy, and family

    • Deacon Will, wife Jasmin, and family
