Pastor Roger recently shared the following about his ministry in Brazil:
Thanks for your prayers! Keep them up!
Praise the Lord for families to reach with the gospel. Pray for Dra, Bria, Douglas, Sergio, Aderson, Mateus, Ricardo, Thalles, and their families. Pray that we share the gospel clearly and trust God with the results.
The Aracaju church went to Alagoas to join the Ponta Verde church to do a family retreat. It was great to see families being edified by the Word. Everyone that went shared how precious the time was to focus on faith and family. May our families continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord.
This month will start the presidential election campaigning. This means there will be a lot of noise and huge mobile speakers, the size of large trucks, blocking the flow of traffic. Your car with get bombarded with political pamphlets telling you who to vote for. Pray for protection, and for the right ones to win the election. Pray that pastors stay focused on the Word and not get swayed away with the current of trusting government.
Pray for James to not have to serve in the Brazilian Army. Since he was born in Brazil, he is supposed to present himself to the Brazilian Army authorities before turning 18 years old. The Army authorities decide whether he stays to serve for a year or more, and they could state that he does not have to serve. The majority are told they don't have to serve, as there is not a great need for Brazilian soldiers. Also, the government doesn't want the extra cost. But one never knows. It is in God's hands so pray.
Thanks for your prayers with all our travels and leadership development! It is exciting to see who God raises up to lead. Pray for grace, wisdom, and strength as we host a couple's event on the 22nd of this month. Pray also as we prepare for three retreats in three different states of Brazil.
God is always good. May we taste and see that truth as well as abide in His strength (Psalm 34:8).

How to pray
Pray that Dra, Bria, Douglas, Sergio, Aderson, Mateus, Ricardo, Thalles, and their families would trust in Christ.
Pray that God would help Pastor Roger as he works to make training videos for Portuguese Pastors.
Pray that pastors in Brazil would remain faithful to the gospel amidst an election year.
Pray that Roger and Crystal’s son James would not have to serve in the Brazilian Army.
Pray that God would bring fruit from the couple’s retreat in August.

Mexico
August brought another month of faithful ministry for Brain and Danyel. After returning from a trip through Mexico to speak at a conference and church services and to encourage pastors in various churches, the Warnes returned home and continued their day-to-day ministries in Sinaloa. Pastor Brian is still discipling many men in person in the churches in Mochicahui and Los Mochis as well as virtually discipling several men pursuing ministry throughout Latin America. Pastor Brian asks us to pray specifically for one of these men, a pastoral resident named Esteban. In addition to this ministry, Pastor Brian asks us to pray that God would bless the efforts from the VBS that the church in Mochicahui hosted recently.
How to pray
Pray for Pastor Brian as he trains and equips church leaders in Mexico, Honduras, and Peru both virtually and in person.
Pray that God would bring fruit from the recent VBS in Mochicahui.
