The Supremacy of Christ in the Home of the Christian

The commands Paul gives to the family are essential expressions of a heart that is fully committed to the supremacy of Christ. If we see ourselves as supreme, then wives will reject their husband’s leadership, husbands will be harsh, children will not obey, and fathers will provoke their children. But if Christ is supreme in our homes, we will display something radically different; and Christ will be seen as preeminent.
