Rejoicing in the Gospel

Paul begins his letter to the Colossians by focusing on the gospel The gospel displays God's grace and power in our lives. It alone can produce faith and love in the lives of sinners. God, who alone deserves credit for salvation, is glorified in the gospel, and uses faithful men and women to spread and live out the gospel to further his glory. Members of the body of Christ have the joy and responsibility to embrace the sufficiency and power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
