Paul’s Prayer for the Church

After God saves someone, he leads them on the path of sanctification, growth in holiness. Sanctification involves understanding and following the will of God, not his secret, undisclosed plan for every detail of life, but his revealed will of what pleases him. Knowing what God loves spurs believers on to love the same things, bear spiritual fruit, and endure to the end.
