The Christian life begins with repentance and continues to be marked by repentance. This repentance should begin with an acknowledgment of sin and then produce a genuine confession of that sin. Real repentance seeks to make things right, correcting any wrongs we may have caused. And repentance does not simply turn away from sin, it also turns towards God, receiving the grace of forgiveness and following after him in obedience and faith.
