Living Before The Ever-Present Lord

Leviticus 24 | JD Summers

When God descended into the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle, his holiness was not limited to the inner sanctum. Instead, his holiness pervaded the Tabernacle, the areas around it, and even extended to the edge of the camp of Israel. This meant that all of Israel had to live in light of God’s holy presence and deal with the consequences of his righteous judgment. But even though their sin and ours deserves judgment, God graciously gives consequences according to the measure of our sin. And in sending Jesus Christ, God took the full weight of judgment for our sin on our behalf. Let us praise our holy Savior!
