Life In Relationship With God
Leviticus 25 | JD Summers
When God dwelt in the midst of his people, it meant that their entire lives had to be made holy and set apart. This holiness extended to their livelihoods as he called them to walk by faith in their planting, buying, and selling. The years of Sabbath and Jubilee would have flown in the face of normal practices and would have tempted the Israelites to doubt God’s provision for them. But God called them to trust in his provision for them, for they truly had nothing of their own; they had received everything from God. Isn’t that true for us today as well? Let us walk by faith, holding all things with an open hand and obeying our Lord no matter what.
