Jesus stands close by with the sharp, authoritative sword in his mouth. His Word inspires hope of relief and reward for faithfulness, but it also reminds us that repentance is not optional. Even as we seek to remain faithful in the face of opposition, we must remain wary of allowing any acceptance of sin to creep in. Let us press on to greater purity knowing that eternity blessing with Christ lies ahead of us!
