Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath

Jesus’ actions on the Sabbath demonstrate his authority and his grace. Jesus wrote the law commanding Israel to keep the Sabbath holy. He also has the authority to use the Sabbath as he sees fit, unbound by human tradition. Jesus also demonstrates grace in the sabbath, providing for needs and restoring what is broken. Let us reject our own efforts, reject extra-biblical standards, and instead lean on Jesus, trusting in him for rest!
