The furnishings of the Tabernacle hold great significance because of what they tell us about God's gracious provision and his glorious pattern for worship. In addition, they point us to Christ. Jesus tabernacled with us in the incarnation. Jesus is the ultimate atonement, the light of the world, the bread of life. Jesus offers complete cleansing, sanctifies our prayers, prays for us, and brings the glorious presence of God to us. Let us bask in the glory of all that Jesus is and does for us!
