Fully Formed Faith

At the end of his life, Jacob blesses Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh. The story of Jacob's blessing in Genesis 48 shows his mature faith. Mature faith finds confidence in the Word of God, God's kindness and grace, the unique way God works, and the certainty of God's promises before death. Just like Jacob found confidence in God's Word, we can have this confidence today. God's kind grace was evident in Jacob's life and is evident in ours as well. God continues to work in unexpected ways. And because Jesus has raised from the dead, we find our ultimate confidence in our eternal future after death.
