Faith and the Providence of God

Genesis 24 reveals the remarkable providence of God in providing a wife for Isaac. The doctrine of providence ought to humble us - we are not the masters of our destiny. It ought to comfort us - we are not victims of fate. And it ought to free us to step out in faith, knowing that God is always providentially guiding all things towards His desired outcome.
