Criminal Justice and Christ’s Mercy

Exodus 21:12-32 | JD Summers

Exodus 21 provides specific instructions for how to meet out justice for crimes against people. They demonstrate how God works justice in the world, and shows us the necessity of loving and respecting human life. These verses also point us to the cross, where God's mercy and justice are so greatly manifested, providing us both the means for our salvation, but also showing us a model of how we can extend mercy to others.
