Pastor Roger recently communicated that the church plant in Aracajú had several needs, namely a television to display song lyrics and a new air conditioning unit for the church building. Redemption Hill had the blessing of being able to send funds to cover both of these needs and assist in the ministry of the church in Aracajú. Pastor Roger was grateful for this gift and expressed his thankfulness to our body.
Pastor Roger also asked for prayer for several requests. First, pray for his preaching and teaching ministries in Brazil. Second, pray that he would have wisdom with some difficult counseling situations. Third, pray for the health of Carlos, who is a faithful member in Aracajú who recently suffered a stroke. And fourth, pray for Tercio, a man with excellent character and faithfulness in studying the Word. Pray that God would evelop him as a leader in the Aracajú church.
How to pray
Pray that God would use the funds Redemption Hill sent to the church in Aracajú to further his ministry through the church.
Pray that God would bless Pastor Roger as he preaches, teaches, and counsels from the Word of God.
Pray that God would heal Carlos after he suffered a stroke.
Pray that God would continue to bless and develop Tercio as a leader.
Pray that God would sustain Pastor Roger as he continues to deal with health issues while serving the Lord in Brazil.
Pray for the fellow pastors and future leaders as they seek to raise up a generation of men to take the gospel to the Portuguese-speaking world.
Pray for the leadership in Aracajú and Gloria:

For the last three years, Redemption Hill has had the blessing of sending funds to help support Iglesia Bíblica Redención, the church Pastor Brian helped to plant in Los Mochis. Recently, we sent funds to cover another year of renting the building where the church meets, as well as funds to help support Tony de la Cruz, one of the pastors of Iglesia Bíblica Redención. Pastor Tony and his family had significant expenses come up unexpectedly due to health and vehicle issues, and we hope that God will use the funds to cover these needs and allow Pastor Tony to continue ministering as God’s servant in Los Mochis.
Pastor Brian and Danyel continued to travel this past month as they attended the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors Conference in Memphis. Pastor Bryan is a Teaching Fellow with ACBC, which means he supervises others as they seek to gain their own certification. Pastor Brian focuses on Spanish-speaking people who are pursuing ACBC certification, helping to strengthen the counseling in the churches throughout Latin America. In addition to the ACBC conference, Pastor Brian represented Planted Ministries at the Shepherds Conference in Mexico. Pray for fruit from both of these events.
In a recent communication, Pastor Brian expressed his love and thankfulness for our body:
Blessings to you and the Redemption Hill Church family.
I really enjoyed getting together during our summer visit and it was a tremendous blessing for us to be able to worship with you all on that Sunday.
We are so thankful for your continued partnership with us in our church planting endeavors in Los Mochis as well as assisting us in our classroom project in Mochicahui.
Your fellow servant,
Pastor Brian Warne
