What You Should Expect from your Pastor

When the Church recognizes the Spirit's equipping and calling of an elder, they should look to Scripture to form their expectations. Pastors must shepherd the flock out of the overflow of their own relationship with Christ. They must maintain their personal integrity and protect the flock from threats without and within. Above all, they are to love the bride for whom Christ died, the Church, and seek to present her holy and blameless before him.
