The Polarizing Gospel

Jesus is the Prince of Peace, but he is also the means of judgment upon the world. Jesus is not an impotent ruler who turns a blind eye to sin, but rather a righteous judge who will return one day to tread the winepress of God’s wrath. Yet even as he promises to execute judgment, he himself was judged so that all who deserve judgment can call upon him in faith and receive mercy instead of their just reward. Let us be moved in the fear of God to draw near to him!
