The Grace of A Guilty Conscience

In Genesis 42 we see God activating the guilty conscience of Joseph's brothers. They are violent and sinful men who need to change. But in His gracious providence God is at work not only to preserve His people, but also to purify them. In observing their experience we learn something about the value of guilt, fear, and godly sorrow that leads to repentance.
