The Flood - Judgment and Deliverance

In Genesis 6 we find sin fully grown - society is completely corrupt, marked by wickedness and violence. Comprehensive evil is met with comprehensive justice, but God shows grace and rescues a man named Noah and his family. Noah boards the ark not just a survivor, but as the bearer of the promise. Sin always brings divine judgment, but hope for rescue is found in the grace of God.
