Jesus does not hide what his mission entails. Unlike swindlers and schemers, he does not have red tape, fine print, or hidden conditions. He makes it abundantly clear that following him means following him to the cross. Yet he is worth it, worth all the pain and suffering that could ever come, for following Jesus means losing your life to find it. Jesus is worth it!
