Promises Kept

God demonstrates His faithfulness to Abraham and Sarah by providing them a son, protecting his legacy, and giving them possession of land in Canaan. God always keeps his promises. This prepares Abraham for the test of his faith to come, and encourages our faith as well. The faithfulness of God is good news because our salvation depends on the fulfillment of all God's promises in Christ
