God of Wrath and Mercy
Exodus 11:1-12:28 | JD Summers
The lead up to the tenth plague demonstrates God's righteous justice and hatred for sin. For the Egyptians, this means the just sentence on every firstborn male. The same just sentence would have fallen on the Israelites, had they not obeyed God's Word by faith. Today we too face the just sentence for our sin, unless we trust wholeheartedly in Jesus Christ's substitutionary sacrifice for us on the cross. God is full of just wrath, but he also overflows with endless mercy.
