Against Vainglory

We all have pride deep in our hearts, and it comes out in our thoughts, words, and actions far too often. Disciples of Jesus root out that pride, submitting to his plan for his followers in humility. You cannot follow Jesus with a spirit of self-centered pride. Lay it down at the foot of the cross and embrace the humble Lord Jesus who has gone before you in humility of his own!
