This last week Steven Parkin preached on Habakkuk 1:1-11, urging us to trust in the God who is always working, who keeps His promises. This week as we deal with the circumstances of life let's fight for faith in our sovereign and faithful God. Let's submit our hearts to His plans and rest in His promises.
If you missed the sermon Sunday you can listen online.
This next Sunday we will return to our study of Mark 10. I invite you to read through this chapter and pray that God would continue teaching us what it means to follow Jesus as disciples who make disciples.
DARKENING SERVICE / EASTER
On Friday evening March 25th everyone is invited to attend a special Good Friday darkening service at Countryside, our sending church. The service will begin at 7pm and will consist of scripture reading, a re-telling of the passion narrative, and singing songs that remember our Savior's suffering. This special time of worship is a wonderful way to remember the death of Christ as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection on Sunday morning.
UPCOMING YOUTH EVENTS
On April 3rd all our junior high and high school students are invited to come to the Huffman's home for a time of fellowship. Steven and Bradi Parkin will be organizing and leading these events, so you can contact them if you have questions.
We are also planning to take a group to camp in Cozad, NE June 13th-17th. This week will be a time of biblical teaching and worship as well as just a fun time enjoying the facilities and activities. Steven Parkin will be one of the speakers. If you would like more information and are interested in signing up, you can lean more here.
In light of Gabe and Katie's upcoming wedding, here is an invitation from the Millers:
Redemption Hill family,
As many of you know Gabe and Katie are getting married in May. We want to celebrate together at a couples wedding shower at the Millers on Wednesday, April 20 from 7-9. Since our space is limited and our church is growing, this will be an adult only event (except for nursing babies if you want to bring them).
We will send out more information about where they are registered soon but wanted everyone to get this on their calendar!
