Speaker: JD Summers | Date: January 6, 2019 | Text: Colossians 1:1-2

Sermon Summary

The book of Colossians centers on the supremacy of Christ. The church in Colossae was facing opposition to the gospel. Some people were distorting the gospel by adding to it, while others were distorting the gospel by subtracting from it. In our own day and age, we face the same type of opposition from people trying to distort the gospel. In light of this, we must remember that Jesus is supreme over all. Only through Jesus can we receive grace, peace, and holiness.
